  Contrast Studio was founded by Sebastien Jurkowski (Creative Director) and Eugene Yeo (Strategy & Operations), who have worked together since 2012 and incorporated Contrast Studio Sdn Bhd in December 2014. The team has since grown to include Lawrence Loh (Technical Director) and a bench of resident and collaborating artists working across visual, sound, and interactive disciplines.

  Contrast Studio designs and delivers brand activations, retail installations, permanent immersive rooms, and museum exhibits across Southeast Asia. The studio also develops original IP — most notably RExperience KL, an 8,800 sq ft permanent venue where artist-led exhibits run in a single room. Past clients include Nike, Dom Pérignon, and Kedah's State Museum.

  Contrast Studio's technical practice spans TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine 5, LiDAR-tracked interaction, projection mapping, generative art, laser systems, and professional media-server show-control. The studio builds real-time interactive systems that combine visual, spatial, and audio elements into a single coherent installation.

  RExperience KL is Contrast Studio's original immersive IP — a permanent 8,800 sq ft venue in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, occupying the former REX Cinema hall, where four artist-led exhibits run in a single room. RExperience is owned and operated by Contrast Studio and collaborates with artists from around the world; the current exhibits are Hanya Batik, Annihilation, Geometry of Emotion, and Escape.

  Timelines vary by project type. Brand activations typically run 2 to 6 months from brief to install. Permanent installations run 5 to 12 months, spanning concept, design, fabrication, and commissioning. Museum commissions run 6 to 18 months, reflecting the additional curatorial, content, and stakeholder coordination involved.
